Eh, talking ’bout these tarot decks, they ain’t just for tellin’ folks their future, y’know. Long ago, they started as some fancy card games for them rich folks in Italy, way back in the 15th century or somethin’. Yeah, them decks was all fancy painted up for the big shots like the Duke of Milan and such. Them rich folks sure had time for them games, huh? Playin’ them cards all day long.
Now, I hear folks these days use ’em to do all sorts of spiritual stuff, tellin’ the future and whatnot. But in the beginning? Nah, that ain’t what they was for. Tarot decks was just part of some game with them special cards called “triumphs” or trionfi, and they had somethin’ called “the fool” card too. Funny name for a card, huh? Them rich folks sure liked to get creative with things.
