Well now, y’know, tarot cards, they’re somethin’ else. I remember back in the day, folks used to pull ‘em out at the local shindig, just for fun, y’know? Ain’t nobody thinkin’ about deep stuff back then. But now, well, people be usin’ ’em for all kinds of things—tryin’ to figure out their life, their love, their problems and whatnot. Folks come to me askin’ all kinds of questions like, “What should I ask the tarot cards?” and “How do I ask the right questions?” Well, lemme tell ya, it ain’t as complicated as people make it sound.
First thing’s first: The questions you ask gotta be things you can control. Ain’t no sense in askin’ about things that you can’t do a lick about. You can’t be askin’ the cards, “When will I win the lottery?” or “How can I make this person love me?” Now, I’m not sayin’ it ain’t nice to wish, but that stuff ain’t really under your control, is it? Instead, ya wanna ask questions about things that you got some say in. Like, “How can I improve my happiness?” or “What can I do to be more patient with myself?” Those kinda things. Ya see, the cards help you look at things from different angles, but only if you’re willin’ to do the work.
